Small-group classes of six. Expert-certified instructors. A personalized approach to movement that gets you real, lasting results — whether you're recovering, training, or starting fresh.
We cap every class at six — and that's not a selling point, it's the whole point. When your instructor has eyes on you every rep, they can see what's firing, what isn't, and exactly how to help you get more out of every session. That's the difference between going through the motions and actually changing your body.
Our staff holds 500+ hours of comprehensive Pilates certification and specializes across rehab, athletic performance, bone health, and more. They don't just lead a class — they study your body, understand your history, and build sessions that evolve as you do. No two workouts are ever the same.
We work with clients recovering from spinal cord injuries and clients training at the professional athletic level — often in the same week. Pilates is a system, not a class type. Wherever you're starting from — post-surgery, post-baby, deconditioned, or just ready to move smarter — we have the expertise to meet you exactly there and move you forward.
Equipment Pilates on reformers, towers, and chairs — max 6 per class, multiple levels available. This is where the results happen.

Emily has been teaching movement for over 15 years. She holds 500+ hours of comprehensive Pilates certification and is one of the few certified Gyrotonic® instructors in North Texas. She's trained professional athletes, pre-professional ballet dancers, and clients recovering from spinal cord injuries — and she built McKinney Movement Center to bring that level of expertise to everyday people in the community.
After 5 years running the Pilates program at Craig Ranch Fitness + Spa, Emily opened MMC so she could keep doing the work she loves — in a space built around the client, not the numbers.
"I've taken Pilates classes at a number of studios — SolidCore, Session, etc. — but McKinney Movement Center is easily the best. The instructors know their clients, what their goals are, their pain points, and put together sessions that are thoughtful of each person. I also love the community. The owner makes it a point to talk to everyone, the instructors get to know me as a person, and I've made genuine friends in class."
"The extreme knowledge the instructors have is so amazing. They can look at our bodies and see when certain muscles are firing or aren't. I can't believe how strong my core is at my age — now I can really chase the grandkids and lift them!"
"Every time I come to class there is always a difference between the class before it — it's never the same. The instructors here really make a difference because they care. At MMC it's not about the numbers."
"I tried a private session with Emily and fell in love with the Gyrotonic® Method. My body feels so much more balanced. I really like MMC Pilates classes because it is Traditional Pilates — you will feel real change and results."
